Print Formulas |

Athletic (Standard)
Designed for application onto 100% Polyester, 100% Cotton and Poly-Cotton Blends. The athletic formula features a strong white underbase making it extremely opaque on both light and dark garments. The Athletic Formula has a heavier athletic hand/feel.

Application Instructions:
Time: 5-7 Seconds
Temperature: 325 F
Pressure: Firm (8-9 on Hotronix or 50-60 psi on Automatic)
Peel: Hot (Remove paper carrier immediately)

Minimum: 8
Available in all sheet sizes - Small 4"x6", Medium 6"x9", Large 9"x12.75" & XL 12.75"x19"

Fashion Formula For Lights
Extremely soft hand/feel for white and light colored Cotton garments. This formula does not contain white, any areas in your design that are white will be garment color. NOTE: Freedom for Lights will not have opacity on dark garments. For the best vibrancy apply to white. The darker the garment the more muted the colors will appear.

Time: 7 Seconds
Temperature: 350 F
Pressure: Firm (8-9 on Hotronix or 50-60 psi on Automatic)
Peel: Hot (Remove paper carrier immediately)

Nylon Formula
Heavy opaque coverage for 100% Nylon substrates. The Nylon formula features a strong white underbase making it opaque on both lights and darks. Nylons can be treated with different water proofing agents, we strongly recommend testing a sample on your substrate before placing a custom order.

Temperature: 300 F
Pressure: Firm (8-9 on Hotronix or 50-60 psi on Automatic)

Art Specifications |

Formatting your artwork according to the specifications below improves turn-around time, quality and allows you to have your custom Freedom Heat Transfers printed free of any art charges. If your artwork does not meet specifications, your account manager will provide a quotation that you can approve to have our art staff make the corrections or you can make the changes and resubmit your art file. Turn around time begins when approve artwork is received.

Freedom heat transfers are accepted in two formats: vector and raster. Vector artwork is made up of geographical shapes such as point, lines curves and polygons. Programs that produce vector artwork include Corel Draw, and Adobe Illustrator. Raster Artwork is made up of tiny dots of color commonly reffered to as pixels or points. Adobe Photoshop is used to create raster artwork.

VECTOR ARTWORK

SIZE
Artwork must be supplied at the final size desired.

FILE FORMAT
Adobe Illustrator CS5 of previous editions or Corel Draw X5 or previous editions are accepted formats.

PLACED IMAGES
All Artwork contained in the art file must be vector and cannot contain placed images.

COLOR
Use white in any area that you wish to have white printed. Do not use white to "mask out" areas that represent shirt color.

FONTS
All fonts must be converted to curves (Corel Draw) or outlines (Illustrator).

LINE THICKNESS
Minimum line thickness is 3 point. Non-print areas need to measure 2 points thick.

RASTER ARTWORK

SIZE
Artwork must be supplied at the final size desired.

Photoshop (.psd) files are accepted.
